John Ivanko lived on a self-reliant farmstead in the US was completely powered by renewable energy in southwestern Wisconsin, USA but recently became a "digital nomad" and travels extensively, stopping once in a while to spend time with his wife and co-author Lisa Kivirist at Tamme, Jaagupi, Estonia which is a coastal property with abundant gardens and solar-powered straw bale house, as well as visit with his son, and watch millions of migrating bird species.
